The Decouverte

Cavereau > Base Loire Kayak – 3h30 – 20 km

This is the ideal itinerary to escape, in the calm and serenity of the river; you will spend a day in complete nature. During your trip, you can admire the villages and castles along the river as well as many small wild islands where you will discover wildlife and vegetation. Halfway through you can take a break at the former port of Chambord, at the foot of the Church of Saint Dyé sur Loire, before resuming your trip back to our base…

The aventure

Base Loire Kayak > Chaumont sur Loire – 3h30 – 20 km

This trip will take you through Blois to the foot of the Château of Chaumont sur Loire. Shortly after your departure, you will pass the port of the Creusille where you can see the futreaux (flat bottomed barges) of the Observatoire Loire, before passing under the ‘old’ bridge of Blois. For your lunch, you can stop on the riverside, out of the city, or go to the Embarcadère (restaurant), you will then leave again for Chaumont sur Loire where we will pick you up to drive you back to our base by minibus…

The sportive

St Dyé sur Loire > Chaumont sur Loire

This is the longest day itinerary that we offer; it is suitable for those wishing to take advantage of long summer days! You will board in the former port of Chambord, halfway through you will pass under the ‘old’ bridge of the city centre of Blois where some waves will come refresh you! You will then continue your adventure to the foot of the castle of Chaumont sur Loire where we will drive you back to our base by minibus…
